The scandalous epic with the contract of 2013 for the repair of the MiG-21 fighters of the Croatian Air Force continues to be carried out by the Ukrainian state enterprise Ukrspetsexport (part of the Ukrboronprom state corporation) with the direct execution of the Odessaaviarservis state enterprise (Odessa). As reported , the Croatian newspaper "Jutarnji List", the Croatian Ministry of Defense sent a Ministry of Defense official request to replace the four previously supplied under this contract MiG-21bis-D (with Croatian hull numbers "131", "132", "134" and " 135 ") by other fully repaired fighters of this type under Ukrainian state guarantees.
One of the five allegedly repaired MiG-21bis-D fighters (board number "131"), which in fact were former Bulgarian aircraft, whose replacement now requires Ukraine from the Croatian side. The picture was taken at SE "Odessaviamiservis" (Odessa) on 29.11.2013 before the delivery of the aircraft to Croatia (c) the Ministry of Defense of Croatia
The actual age of these five aircraft is about five years more than the one declared by the Ukrainian side. In addition, two fighters have engines of unknown origin, the factory numbers of which do not coincide with those specified in the Ukrainian documentation. It also became clear that the documentation for the wings was also falsified, and part of the wings for these five cars was borrowed from Odessa by the decommissioned fighters of the Air Force of Algeria.
